Turn Your Existing Home Audio System into a Karaoke Machine

THE KARAOKE MIXER

The easiest way to turn your existing home audio system into a full fledged Karaoke System is to add on the ACNOS Mi-30s Karaoke Mixer (pictured above).

The Mi-30s simply sits in between your Phone, Tablet, Laptop, Karaoke Hard Drive or your Smart TV, so the audio first filters through the Karaoke Mixer before it goes through your existing sound system.

This way you can add your vocals to the soundtrack as well as all the effects like Echo, Reverb, Bass, Treble with adjustments for the microphone and music volumes.

The Mi-30s has several connection inputs for the audio to come through so you can sing-along with your microphones.

1. via Optical Audio Input / HDMI ARC (from your Smart TV).

Use your Smart TV for YouTube or Karaoke Streaming Service, Video and Lyrics remain on your TV with the audio being redirect via the Optical Cable into the Karaoke Mixer.

2. via Bluetooth (from your Smart TV, Phone, Tablet, Laptop).

Use any Bluetooth enabled device to pair with the Karaoke Mixer so the audio streaming via Bluetooth directly to the mixer. Any Video and Lyrics (i.e. from YouTube, Karaoke App or Streaming Service will remain on the host device be it your Smart TV, Phone, Tablet or Laptop.

3. via RCA Stereo Line Input (From your DVD player, Karaoke Hard Drive etc.)

This option allows you to connect any stereo device with the standard Red/White (Left/Right) audio outputs like a DVD Player, Karaoke Hard Drive, Gaming Consoles (for Karaoke Game Discs or for playback of Karaoke DVD's) or even a Compact Disc Player (for playing backing tracks).

These devices generally don't have microphone inputs like a Karaoke Machine does (i.e. Sonken MP-4000) so again you'll need a Karaoke Mixer.

In all cases except for a Compact Disc Player (being audio only) the Video/Lyrics connection (HDMI, Composite [Yellow - RCA]. Component etc.) will go straight to the TV as the Mixers don't handle any video content.

RSQ NEO-22 Karaoke Machine (CD+G/DVD/MP3+G)

The name RSQ (Real Sound Quality) based in the USA is well known in the Karaoke world and is strongly linked to the brand JVC (Victor Company of Japan, Ltd) who made the some of the worlds most popular karaoke machines like the SV-222 single tray and MV-333 triple tray.

Of course back then state of the art technology with only CD+G and VCD playback, long before the dawning of DVD and today's MP3+G.

Today the SV-222 and MV-333 models are getting old and JVC the original makers for RSQ of the technology simply don't have any more spare parts for these ageing superstars.

Technology has moved on and new formats have emerged like MP3+G the digital equivalent of CD+G (and yes you can convert you existing CD+G's into MP3+G files see www.mp3g.com.au ) and RSQ's own format NEO+G a super capacity format, though the NEO+G format really never caught on as the NEO discs will not work on other karaoke machines.

But when you have owned something so reliable for so long whether it be branded JVC or the later RSQ you don't want to jump ship too fast and I can understand that, and many owners of their JVC/RSQ Karaoke Machines just don't want to part with them.

JVC is no longer making machines but RSQ have followed on from where JVC left off with the brand new RSQ NEO-22 Karaoke Machine and it still uses the famous JVC mould for the front fascia.
