It features three operating modes, Bluetooth the default standard for all KBEATBOX models, but by pushing the "MODE" button you can then select either MP3 audio playback from the USB port or push it again to select the line (AUX) audio input.

The AUX input can be used to connect a Karaoke Machine for example like the Sonken MP-4000 if you wanted to play Karaoke Discs or Downloads, or you might want to connect your Smart TV to the CS-200PU so you can sing-along to music from a Karaoke Streaming Service, Karaoke App or even YouTube.

Now if your TV has Bluetooth you won't need to use the AUX input just pair the TV to the CS-200PU and the audio will stream through and you can sing-along, else if your TV doesn't have Bluetooth just add the optional DAC adapter and you will use your TV's optical output and feed that through the AUX line input again so you can sing-along to the audio from the TV.

And the fun continues as you get not one but two Professional UHF Wireless Microphones with CS-200PU and you have mixing features for the Microphone Volume, Bass, Treble and yes Echo.

For the music you also have Bass and Treble adjustments along with a Digital BASS+ boost button.

Bluetooth Stream and Sing along to YouTube Karaoke on the Sonken MP4000

Did you know?

The Sonken MP4000 has Bluetooth Connectivity?

What this enables you to do is sing-along to songs playing on your other Bluetooth devices be it your Phone, Tablet, Laptop or even your Smart TV.

As all these other devices don’t have anywhere to connect microphones to, you use the Sonken MP4000 as your Microphone Mixer as it has 2x Microphone Inputs with Volume, Echo and Tone Controls.

Once paired the audio is Bluetooth streamed via the MP4000 so you can sing-along.

Now keep in mind any video i.e. YouTube, Karaoke App etc. stay on the other device used, it’s just the audio that feeds through the MP4000.

If using the Smart TV as the source (picture and sound) you will need to be connecting the MP4000 to a separate amplifier and speaker system or powered speaker for this to work.

The other cool feature here is that you can also record your performance so again just insert a USB Memory Stick or SD Card and push the record button.

We get asked all the time can I output the visuals from my phone or tablet to a TV or Projector at the same time as sending the Bluetooth audio through the MP4000?

This can be achieved if you use a separate Chrome Cast device, of course if using a Laptop just run a HDMI cable out to the TV or Projector and you’re done.

But remember the MP4000 will need to be connected to separate amplifier and speaker system or a powered speaker for the best audio results, oh and don’t forget your microphones.
