Sadly its been confirmed by Sonken Australia that due to continued global supply issues and rising costs that they have decided to retire this product.

Today's delivery was scheduled to arrive 10 months ago.

Stocks are limited we only have 52 units available with two being the Series 4 which has been next to impossible to get.

Bluetooth Stream and Sing along to YouTube Karaoke on the Sonken MP4000

 

Did you know?

The Sonken MP4000 has Bluetooth Connectivity?

What this enables you to do is sing-along to songs playing on your other Bluetooth devices be it your Phone, Tablet, Laptop or even your Smart TV.

As all these other devices don’t have anywhere to connect microphones to, you use the Sonken MP4000 as your Microphone Mixer as it has 2x Microphone Inputs with Volume, Echo and Tone Controls.

Once paired the audio is Bluetooth streamed via the MP4000 so you can sing-along.

Now keep in mind any video i.e. YouTube, Karaoke App etc. stay on the other device used, it’s just the audio that feeds through the MP4000.

If using the Smart TV as the source (picture and sound) you will need to be connecting the MP4000 to a separate amplifier and speaker system or powered speaker for this to work.

The other cool feature here is that you can also record your performance so again just insert a USB Memory Stick or SD Card and push the record button.

We get asked all the time can I output the visuals from my phone or tablet to a TV or Projector at the same time as sending the Bluetooth audio through the MP4000?

This can be achieved if you use a separate Chrome Cast device, of course if using a Laptop just run a HDMI cable out to the TV or Projector and you’re done.

But remember the MP4000 will need to be connected to separate amplifier and speaker system or a powered speaker for the best audio results, oh and don’t forget your microphones.

Max Karaoke (Series 3) WIFI + 15" TOUCHSCREEN FIRMWARE UPDATE (May 2022)

A firmware update has been released for the Sonken Max Karaoke System Series 3 Model (Touch Screen with WIFI connection).

The problem only presents when the system is used on WIFI to stream content i.e. for YouTube.

Customers using the system to playing Karaoke MP4 songs via USB Memory Stick have not experienced the issue, it's only once the system is connect to a WIFI that the issue arises.

The system has performed a upgrade (in the background) of internal software which causes the entire to continually reset the Max Karaoke system when using this YouTube playback feature via WIFI.

As advertised, the Google Play Store is not compatible on this system in Australia and this has updated the internal software, it also occurs when the user is prompted and accepts the update to occur.

You can purchase the firmware upgrade which will be posted to you on a specially formatted Micro-SD Card by calling 1300 550 630. 

Please Note: All systems from May 2022 have had this update already installed for your convenience.

Do not ever accept any prompts once installed/updated (Say NO) to update "Google Play Store" else you will need to do a Factory Reset thereafter following the prompts in the Max Karaoke Series Firmware Guide (PDF) from points 10 to 20 to complete the reset process.

We are also happy to perform the firmware upgrade for free at our Dandenong South (Victoria) Warehouse / Showroom (call 1300 550 630 to make an appointment).

If your unit is having battery issues like switching off immediately when turned on (even if connected with the mains adapter) then you will most likely need to swap out the battery see our video (below) on how to successfully acheive this.

Sonken SA-767 Professional HIFI / DJ / Karaoke Mixing Amplifier

 

This is the replacement for the very popular SA-760 Professional Mixing Amplifier, the new and improved Series 2, SA-767 Model from Sonken.
